Elder dauaghter of D Savitrama Timmegowda led by Sunita Timmegowda provided complete offerings at the Shri Lakshmi Narayansawamy temple today at Kollegala. Sunita promoter of N R Group and a resident of Sadashivnagar in Bangalore and Shri Ashok Kumar and distributed prasad after the offerings at the temple.
D Savitramma has been a devotee at the Shri Lakshminarayana Swamy temple. In 1998 as she was responsible in the construction of the gopura at the temple then. She had contributed a sum of rupees 15 lakhs for the upkeep and maintenance of the temple then which was used to perform temple puja rituals and other necessary activities.
Now Savitrama along with her elder daughter Sunita has taken a lead in the activities of the temple. On Sunday a chariot decorated with a floral was paraded and all the devotees visiting the temple were provided with prasadam.
On the occasion discussion was held with Acharya Sudarshan Bhat. Besides Rajgopura several other developmental works were discussed. Savitrama in the presence of elder daughter Sunita and said that her husband Ashok who will take care.
