We actively contribute to society’s sustainable development through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. As part of our ongoing efforts to create awareness on diversity and inclusivity we have initiated a community outreach program, which also coincides with the celebration of International Women’s Day.
Through this program, over a couple of weeks, we have reached out to 1000+ students from government schools in Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Vadodara, with a special focus on girl students. Through this engagement, we touched upon health & wellness and life skills, and our team of volunteers engaged, interacted, and mentored the students.
In Bengaluru, and Mysuru we organized a special session on health and hygiene for girl students. Hitachi Energy employees also had a focus group discussion with all girl students (8th & 9th class) on various topics, including career and skill development. Also, our team of volunteers organized fun activities for all students to make the activity more engaging.
